Based on procedural inspiration, used by Miró and Mondrian, written by João Cabral de Melo Neto in the poem O Sim Contra o Sim (Serial), the artists tried to unlearn their best-known ways and address other ways of creating.

 

[Miró, being right-handed, would have started using his left hand to find his line still fresh, and Mondrian would have grafted tools like rulers and squares into his hand to force the hand to abandon the usual improvisation]

 

+ immersed, each one, in their long quarantine, had a question in mind that was highlighted in their conversations: what would this period emerge, what kind of flow could meet what is generated internally in this state we are in?

 

EXSURGÊNCIA [term used in hydrology to designate a place where a watercourse begins; are areas or points of discharge from an aquifer; the same as spring or water eye.
